Tomakin also known as “Sunpatch by the Sea” is located approximately 20km South of Batemans Bay in NSW.
The area has a long history dating back many years, however more recently in the early 1960’s the area started to see homes commence construction in, what was then referred to, as ‘Sunpatch Beach Estate.’
The site on which the Guesthouse is now built, once housed a modest two bedroom Fiber Cement Lined home, typical of construction from that period. In keeping with the current owners philosophy of minimising waste and sustainability, this original home was fully renovated and relocated to a new site in Batehaven, some 15km to the north in 2019. Construction of the new home commenced in 2020 and was completed in 2024.
The current owners are long term Tomakin residents, and, live in the adjacent property ,so if assistance of any kind if needed, it is never far away.
